Very inconspicuous place, we walked in and it was pretty empty. It was 6pm Wednesday maybe that's why. Anyways we ordered the onion beef and the Hunan beef and chicken.... WOW!!! It was spectacular super delicious. Fast friendly service and of course DELICIOUS food! Don't pass this place up it's GREAT!! I forgot to take pictures it was so yummy we just INHALED IT
I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. The food has been consistently good all of this time which says a lot. Taiwan has a flavor that I've not been able to find at any other establishment so it's one of my top 5 comfort foods. I usually lean towards the happy family, chicken and shrimp and shrimp rolls and they never disappoint. I don't dine in very often anymore but the interior could use a little TLC or minor renovations. Other than that this place is a hidden gem.
Food is always good, been coming here for 30yrs. Service is always nice and friendly and the ambiance is nice and open, nice outside light from all the windows. We love Taiwan Restaurant!
I remember first going to Taiwan in 2010. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I went today, and it was sad to see a change in ambiance. Food was good but not like before. We had sizzling rice soup and it didn't have the vibrant vegetables as it used to. It was mainly broth. We also got beef and broccoli with fried rice and that was good as well. Really hoping Taiwan could get in touch with the service and quality as before.
First time here & everything was delicious! Met me & my family expectation. & everyone was very nice! Will come back here again! Need to try more from their menu, so much to choose! Loved it
The service was great!! The food is freshly cooked, I ordered the shrimp fried rice, the shrimp was so good, rice was amazing check this place out!
The place said it's Taiwan Restaurant but when you come inside, they have a sign with Filipino food. Staff is super friendly! Loved that it's not a buffet like most typical Filipino restaurants you find here in Texas. I came in a little early so I ordered the tocino with fried rice. I was so glad it was made just like back home and it was good! Big portions for only $10.95! Ask for some sawsawan- yum! I also ordered lumpia. 6 pieces for $2.95 sooo good! I was so full and was bummed I couldn't eat any halo halo. Will definitely be back when I'm in CC again.
